Small Légras Bowl
Little Art Nouveau bowl from Légras with an enamelled lakeside scene all round.
The bowl rises from a circular foot, graduating into a squared rim with gently rounded corners.
Trees on the near shore rise to form a leafy canopy immediately below the rim, beneath which can be seen a few small sailing boats on the water.
The far shore undulates gently, with its pale colour accentuating the distance.
In good clean condition, unsigned but without a doubt by Auguste Légras and dating from circa 1900 or perhaps a little before.
From corner to corner the measurement is 11 cms. and the height is 6.5 cms.
