Silver Sugar Sifter*
Item Description
English Arts & Crafts sugar sifter made by the three brothers and silversmiths Alfred, Francis and Arthur Pairpoint, with a London hallmark for the year 1909.
A round, columnar shape with a stylised leafy design circling both the body of the container and its removable perforated lid which ends in a little decorative finial at the very top.
The gently flared foot is finished with a simple offset pattern all round.
15.5 cm high, with the base just over 7 cm in diameter – all that’s required is a bowl of nice fresh strawberries…
