Silver Pierrot Earrings*
Pair of Art Deco silver and black enamel clip-on earrings that are unmarked but, if not actually attributed to, they are certainly in the manner of Etienne (also Emile) David.
Modelled as a stylised portrait of a long faced pierrot, with his eyes closed and his mouth forming an ‘O’.
Dating from around the 1930’s with one of the pair marked sterling and a touch over 3 cm long.
(The black marks on the faces in the photos are purely reflection and are not apparent ‘in the flesh’).
