Silver, Lapis and Moonstone Necklace attr. to Amy Sandheim*
Item Description
Arts & Crafts silver necklace dating from circa 1920, unmarked but attributed to Amy Sandheim.
With a large pear-shaped lapis stone surmounted by a spray of silver leaves set with moonstones, one of which is heart-shaped. The stone itself swivels very slightly from side to side and the design of leaves is continued on the reverse side – see photo 5.
The pendant is suspended from a little lapis ball with a single silver leaf detail also showing on the bale.
Measuring a touch over 8 cm from the top of the bale, with the chain approximately 64 cm in length.
