Silver and Turquoise Scarab
Item Description
Splendid circa mid 1920’s Egyptian Revival silver scarab pendant on, if not the original, then certainly an old silver chain marked 925 for silver content.
The pendant, with its shaped outline, has a central turquoise scarab beetle and is surrounded by a design of intertwining silver swirls and twenty further small turqoise stones.
The necklace chain is the perfect guage for the pendant’s size and measures approximately 48 cm in length. The pendant, including the bale, is a touch over 6 cm.
