Silver and Enamel Galleon Brooch
Hexagonal silver brooch with a coloufully enamelled image of a galleon under sail on the high seas.
The convex surface shows lovely raised detail with the sails, masts and flags left unenamelled, contrasting so well with the various colours around them.
Hallmarked at Birmingham for the year 1947 and also showing the maker's mark of F.J.M & Co about whom we can find no information.
