Silver and Enamel Egyptian Revival Necklace
Item Description
Egyptian Revival silver and multi-coloured enamel necklace that has a definite Arts & Crafts look.
With a centrally placed amethyst coloured scarab, winged serpents, stylised lotus blossoms and even a little ankh forming the drop, the designer has not held back on Egyptian motifs.
Enamelled in typical Egyptian Revival colours and with the silver partially gilded.
The chain, with its old style Arts & Crafts clasp, is original and measures approximately 44 cm. Length of the main decorative element is 10.5 cm.
Dating from the early part of the 20th century.
