Secessionist Photo Frame
Item Description
Electroplated pewter secessionist photograph frame from WMF circa 1902 and still in very nice condition. Described in the WMF catalogue as a cabinet photo frame and originally priced in this country at ten shillings.
Typical secessionist style, all geometric angles and gentle curves and a shield-shaped blank cartouche at the top.
The glazed area is approximately 14.5 by 10 cm and the overall height is 22 cm.
Marked beneath the bottom edge WMF EP OX.
