Brooch attr. to Rhoda Wager*
Arts & Crafts brooch in silver and gold attributed to the English born jeweller Rhoda Wager who lived and worked for several years in Australia. This brooch is quite probably from that period.
Showing an elongated oval frame in silver, detailed with winding silver stems and flowers and leaves in gold.
Set in the centre is a crescent shaped polished opal stone showing a multitude of colours.
Unmarked but we are sure of the attribution and with a width of 4.25 cm.
