Rectangular Brass Planter*
Unusual and attractive brass covered planter very much in the Art Nouveau taste.
Raised off the ground and of a rectangular shape with pleasingly contoured topsides.
On the front and back are pairs of stylised crested exotic birds facing each other in a mirror image. Flowers and leaves of Iris decorate the ends.
Measuring approximately 44 X 18 cm and with a height of 17 cm, this is a piece dating from around the 1880’s. In good aged condition and still very usable.
