Pretty Blue VAL*
Item Description
Rare Verrerie d’Art Lorraine vase in a beautiful shade of blue with small silver inclusions in the glass. This company (VAL) was set up in the 1920’s by Paul Daum with Pierre D’Avesn as artistic director and the glass was made at the Daum factory which was nearby.
This vase has silver-plated and bronze mounts formed as stylized leaves and berries.
The height is 27 cm and there is a very faint Lorraine signature.
