Pendant by James Fenton
Item Description
Silver and enamel pendant from James Fenton in a design that’s now quite hard to come by.
A complex outline with an openwork triangle framing the upper part of a convex circular feature which is divided into four upright sections, each enamelled in shades of blue and green.
Little blue enamelled dots add detail at the top part of the triangle and below two of the three dividing lines running up and down the centre circle.
A typical and very recognizable Fenton enamelled drop is suspended below.
Marked J.F on the back together with a Birmingham hallmark for the year 1908.
The pendant, including the bale and the drop, measures 5 cms. in length and the silver necklace chain is 41 cms. long.
