Nude Lady and Deer
White porcelain lady and deer created by the Bavarian company Hutschenreuther around 1925-30. The nude young lady is kneeling on the ground with a small deer standing behind her, both looking at the posy of flowers she's holding in her cupped hands.
The only colour is the pink of the flowers with the same shade picked out as a line around the rim of the base, and a paler pink shade for the animal's eyes and nose.
This is a lovely and quietly elegant figurine and a good size at just under 24 cm high. Fully marked on the underside.
