Newlyn School 9 ct. Gold Brooch*
Item Description
9 ct. gold pansy brooch vividly enamelled in shades of blue with a deep yellow-gold coloured centre.
The brooch is fitted with a safety chain and, although showing no maker’s mark, is clearly Newlyn School in origin, displaying as it does the typical enamelling style of that particular collective.
Circa 1900, marked 9 ct. on the back and with a width of a little over 2.5 cm.
