Necklace attr. to Murrle Bennett
Necklace in 15 ct. gold set with pearls and little turquoise cabochons, unmarked but surely by Murrle Bennett.
Comprising a gold bar set with a large central baroque pearl caged in gold wire with a turquoise stone on each side midway along the bar and a pearl set at each end.
A matching turquoise sits centrally above two short lengths of chan and two more delightfully misshapen caged baroque pearls are suspended below, each on a pair of chains.
The whole effect is geometrically elegant and the chain length of around 37.5 cm. means it will be worn fairly high.
