Murrle Bennett Silver Necklace*
Hammered articulated silver necklace set with a central mother-of-pearl plaque and with a baroque pearl at the drop.
A classic shape, very much in the style of Archibald Knox and with two heart-shaped side attachments connecting the main pendant to the single necklace chain.
Complete with all original chainwork including a splendid toggle type fastener.
Approximately 8 cm from the top of the spacers to the bottom of the drop, with the remainder of the necklace chain measuring another 30 cm.
Late 1800’s to early 1900’s and impressed with the maker’s mark for Murrle Bennett & Co. together with the 950 silver content mark.
