Murrle Bennett Silver Gilt Pendant
Pendant in silver gilt with an open flower shaped outline and fine filigree work encircling a central mother-of-pearl disc.
Set around the edge, in between the segments, are six tiny turquoise cabochons.
The pendant is suspended from the original dedicated heart-shaped bale, which also shows fine filigree detail.
Made by Murrle Bennett & Co circa 1900 and marked on the back with the MBCo maker’s mark and also for sterling silver.
Including the bale, the pendant is just a fraction below 4 cm long, with the silver gilt necklace chain measuring approximately 46 cm.
