Murrle Bennett Silver & Enamel Pendant*
Item Description
Silver and enamel pendant by Murrle Bennett & Co with a gently shaped outline detailed with a design of intertwining sweeping stems and clusters of berries.
Enamelled in a sky blue colour, shading very gently to greeny yellow at the top.
An oval partially enamelled drop is suspended below.
Marked on the back with the MBCo maker’s mark and 950 denoting the silver content – purer than sterling.
Length including the silver bale and the drop is the merest touch below 5 cm, with the necklace chain measuring 44 cm.
