Beautifully designed and made 9 ct. gold necklace from Murrle, Bennett & Co.
Circular in shape, with three gold wire concentric circles further decorated with heart-shaped leaves. A nicely coloured opal is set in the centre with a second smaller one in the drop below. Still on its original 9ct. gold chain.
Circa 1900 and fully marked on the back with the maker’s mark and gold content.
The pendant, including its drop, is around 3.5 cm long and the chain, with its barrel clasp measures 42cm.
