Murrle Bennett Gold and Opal Pendant*
Art Nouveau 15 ct. gold pendant with deep blue plique-à-jour enamelling detail, set with three richly coloured wood opals and another in the drop below.
This is a classic Murrle Bennett outline wth vey elegant curves, and the juxtaposition of the opals with a little seed pearl set in the centre gives the look of three stylised leaflets above a narrow stem.
Dating from circa 1900, marked MB&Co and 15 ct. along the top edge of the pendant which measures 5 cm from the suspender ring to the bottom of the drop.
The 9 ct gold chain is 56 cm long.
