Miniature Copper Box on Four Legs
Little copper box with a light, randomly hammered finish, set on four legs and with a mother-of-pearl motif centrally set in the lid.
Standing on four legs with crimped detail, the box is of riveted construction with a single hinge to the back of the lid which shows a double strap detail and a fold-over latch at the front.
The interior is unlined and the rivets and folds of the copper sides are visible.
Circa 1905 and full of character, measuring approximately 7.5 by 5.5 cm with a height of a touch over 6 cm.
