Marius Hammer Pendant*
Item Description
Silver gilt and sky blue enamel pendant from Marius Hammer.
An openwork square, turned on to one corner, enclosing an enamelled circle and detailed with tiny whorls of gilded silver wirework. In the centre is an enamelled cabochon.
Three little matching enamelled drops are suspended below and the ornate bale is similarly decorated.
Dating from the early 1900’s and marked on the reverse with the Marius Hammer maker’s mark.
The pendant is 5.5 cm long including the bale and central drop. The silver gilt chain measures 60 cm.
