Limoges Enamelled Maiden Brooch

A fine upright oval enamelled brooch signed by the highly regarded Limoges artist Gamet, dating from around 1900.
Showing the profile of a young maiden, her head covered by a white lace cap and beautifully detailed with the enamel embellished with gold highlights.
A good size at approximately 5 cm long and with an old barrel clasp fixing.
