Limoges Enamel Brooch*
Item Description
Large size circular Limoges enamel portrait brooch.
Enamelled on to copper in the traditional way, the picture is of a young girl with long chestnut tresses wearing an ornate jewelled headdress.
Beautifully detailed and set into a gilt metal frame.
There is just the trace of a signature to one side but we are unable to decipher it.
Dating from around 1900 and with a diameter of just over 5.5 cm.
