Liberty Gold & Turquoise Pendant*
Item Description
Art Nouveau high carat gold pendant in a known Liberty design, made in the early 1900’s.
An openwork style with an arched row of four stylised leaves on short stems above a sinuous wirework pattern that surrounds a centrally set turquoise matrix stone.
At the foot a fine Mississippi pearl is suspended on a couple of links to form an elegant drop.
The original dedicated bale takes the form of a single leaf, similar to those across the top of the pendant.
From the top of the bale to the bottom of the drop, the length is 5.5 cm.
On a 9 ct. gold necklace chain measuring 52 cm.
