Large Art Nouveau Copper and Brass Jardiniere*
Item Description
Art Nouveau / Arts & Crafts copper and brass jardiniere of a very imposing size with a smooth finished and gently tapering copper body, curving inwards at the rim.
Embellished with a pair of applied brass handles, angled at the top and narrowing inwards toward the base. The handles graduate into a typically Art Nouveau whiplash pattern of stems and leaves which extend partially across the body on both sides, giving a stylish detail.
In excellent polished condition, with a height of 30 cm to the rim and an overall height of a touch under 34 cm. The internal diameter at the rim is 28.5 cm and the overall width between the tip of each handle is approximately 53.5 cm.
