Jugendstil Gold, Silver and Mother-of-Pearl Earrings*
Pair of German Jugenstil earrings fashioned from hammered silver with an oval mother-of-pearl disc set in each centre and surrounded by a silver wirework frame with a beaded edge and scrollwork detail at top and bottom.
A couple of little silver dots add accent and the design is completed with mother-of-pearl drops suspended at the base.
Unmarked but certainly German made and with a look of Murrle Bennett about them, not least charcterised by the marked 9 ct. gold screw-on fittings.
The length is approximately 3.5 cm.
