John Atkins & Sons Dragonfly Pendant*
Item Description
Silver and enamel pendant necklace showing the maker’s mark of John Atkins & Sons.
In the form of a flying dragonfly, its long body and wings vividly enamelled in shades of blue and green.
The insect appears to have just alighted on the beaded silver ring from the top of which two short lengths of chain connect to the matching neklace chain.
Clearly marked on the back with the JA&S mark and for sterling silver, also showing the model number 1100.
A fraction below 8 cm long from the top ring and 5 cm wide between the wingtips.
The necklace chain measures 46 cm in length.
