Item Description
This is a fairly well-known image by Antoine Calbet, sometimes known as “Youth” and also as “Lovers Kiss”.
An old magazine print of a wonderful watercolour painting showing a loving couple dancing in the open and kissing whilst wearing not very much. Great movement and gentle, subtle colours.
This came from a 1932 magazine although we believe the original was painted in 1926.
Ready to hang in its simple black plastic frame which looks so appropriate for the period. Size is approx. 40.5 X 31 cm.
