Pendant attr. to James Fenton
Item Description
Art Nouveau silver and enamel pendant with a Birmingham hallmark for the year 1908.
With a real look of James Fenton but the maker’s mark is rather indistinct. However, we are confident that it is from the Fenton workshop and the drop is identical to most other drops used by that maker, as is the ‘bobbly’ enamel in varying shades of blue.
Just a fraction below 5 cms. long, including the ring bale and the drop.
The necklace chain has a toggle type fastener with enamel detail and measures between 42 and 43 cms. in length.
