Impressionist Enamel Pendant Necklace
Extremely eye-catching large Arts & Crafts pendant featuring an upright oval impressionist enamel scene set in a quite lovely silverwork mount.
With a somewhat shield-shaped outline and scrolling wirework in different gauges, the mount is further decorated with stylised flowers and berries, ending with a softly rounded rectangular enamelled drop at the foot.
Unmarked but very probably from one of the guilds, quite possibly the Guild of Handicraft.
The chainwork all matches throughout and the length of the pendant is 6.5 cm including the drop.
Fitted with a toggle type fastener, the necklace chain measures approximately 40 cm in length.
