Porcelain figure of a Hyacinth Macaw from Karl Ens. At just under 26 cm high this is a stunning likeness in a beautiful and vivid blue colour.
The bird is standing on a white glazed branch which makes the almost electric colour stand out so well. The detail of the feathering is quite superb as is usual with this top class maker.
Marked beneath with the green Karl Ens windmill mark which dates it to 1939 or earlier.
