Heart-Shaped Gold Pendant with Knotted Pearls*
Item Description
Romantic little gold necklace with a heart shaped drop suspended inside a circle of four gold knots, each enclosing a pearl.
A single, slightly smaller pearl is set in a diamond shaped mount in the centre of the heart.
Symbolising eternal love, this is a necklace that has been cleverly designed and proportioned and very nicely made.
Dating from circa 1890 and in good clean condition, with a diameter of approximately 2.5 cm. The chain, marked 9k, is 51 cm long.
