Gold, Turquoise and Pearl Necklace*
Item Description
Arts & Crafts 9 ct. gold necklace with alternate caged turquoise matrix stones and baroque pearls placed at intervals along the necklace chain.
All of a good size, the stones and pearls have been deliberately selected for their mis-shapen appearance and character.
With a distinctly Murrle Bennett look and very likely made by that company but unmarked – there being no component large enough to receive the mark, other than the tiny plaque alongside the barrel clasp which is marked 9 ct.
Circa 1900-05 and with a length of 49 cm.
