Pair of Victorian 9 ct. gold earrings in the form of stylised snakes’ heads, each set with ruby eyes.
Very well crafted with finely etched detail and a real individual look.
Each earring curves in the oppostite direction to the other so there is a definite left and right, depending on whether they are worn head up or head down.
With butterfly fittings and a touch under 2.5 cm long. Of English origin, dating from circa 1890.
