Gold Scarab Necklace*
A late Victorian Egyptian Revival 9 ct. gold necklace with six real scarabs, incorporating later added Art Deco detail on either side.
Six vividly iridescent green scarabs, graded for size, follow each other around the loop of the necklace with a tiny length of chain between each.
Above these is a gilt metal fan and swirling stem design linking the scarabs to a fine gold chain which has a barrel type clasp.
Total length is approximately 54 cm.
