Gold Earrings with Moonstones and Sapphires
Pair of 1930’s gold earrings crafted in three separate linked components.
Topmost is an openwork circular feature, set in the centre with a sapphire stone. Directly behind this is the post fitting with its butterfly back.
The mid section of the earring comprises a smaller sapphire within a simple gold setting.
Beneath this is suspended a claw-set oval moonstone.
Unmarked but testing as 15 ct. gold, the earrings measure 2.8 cm long.
