Victorian high carat gold and platinum ring in the form of a fly settled at an angle on the shank.
Set with old cut diamonds in its wings, with ruby eyes and thorax and a cat’s eye body, the fly is somewhat stylised but nevertheless quite realistic in appearance.
The decorative shank is etched all round with a floral and foliate design.
