Murrle Bennett Gold and Turquoise Necklace
Necklace in 15 ct. gold made by Murrle Bennett & Co. circa early 1900’s.
Comprising several individual sections, each linked by oval rings, and culminating in an elegant pear-shaped drop.
The two main central components show a decorative pierced design and the necklace is set with four turquoise matrix stones.
Marked verso with the MBCo maker’s mark and also stamped 15 ct.
The chain is original and fitted with an ornate barrel type clasp which is also marked 15 ct.
Length from the top of the four central components, including the drop, is 5 cm.
The full length when opened out is approximately 45 cm.
