Gold and Ruby Snake Ring*
Victorian 15 ct. gold ring crafted in the form of a snake, its head facing forward over the top of the coiled body and its tail curling down one side of the shank.
Displaying fine decorative detail over its entire length, and if you look carefully, with its jaws very slightly open.
Further decorated with a ruby set into the top of the head and red enamel highlights to the eyes.
Victorian, dating from circa 1880 and marked somewhat indistinctly inside the shank.
