Gold and Enamel Portrait Pendant*
18 ct. gold oval pendant with the portrait of a lady, her hair and clothing engraved into the gold, and her face and neck quite beautifully enamelled.
She is modestly looking downwards with her head slightly turned and the contrast between the gold and the flesh tones is just right.
Circa 1890 and almost certainly French in origin.
Marked for 18 ct. and fitted with an 18 ct gold chain (marked 750), with a length of 50 cm.
