Gold and Almandine Garnet Pendant
Small Art Nouveau 9 ct. gold pendant set with an oval almandine garnet in its centre.
The three-dimensionally contoured surface is framed by an openwork border which weaves over and under itself in entrelac fashion and is finished with a little baroque pearl at the drop.
Suspended on a pair of elongated links and a circular ring from an oval bale connecting to the necklace chain.
Marked 9 ct. on the back and dating from the early 1900’s.
Just 4 cm long from the top of the bale to the bottom of the drop. The chain, which has a barrel type clasp, is approximately 40 cm in length.
