German Plique-à-Jour Pendant*
Very pretty pink plique-à-jour pendant necklace from Germany made around 1920.
The openwork silver design filled with vitreous glass, giving a delightful look when help up to the light.
With a central amethyst and also set with small diamonds and pearls.
Unfortuntely our photographs do not do justice to the tint of the glass which is actually less brown and more towards the colour of the amethyst.
The pendant is a touch over 4 cm long and the chain is approximately 40 cm.
