George Hunt Silver and Abalone Brooch
Arts & Crafts silver brooch made by George Hunt dating from around the 1920's.
The long bar of silver is affixed towards one end with a shaped and tapered silver mount set with a very colourful piece of abalone.
Immediately below this is set a circular green chrysoprase cabochon which complements the strong shades of the abalone perfectly.
Marked on the back with the initials GH within a shield and measuring a fraction over 10 cm in length.
