This is an attractive and elegant piece from the French sculptor Geo (George) Maxim, almost certainly dating from the late 1920’s to early 30’s.
Measuring a little over 63 cm in length by around 35 cm high, it is signed by the artist and bears the impressed mark Terre cuite d’art.
