French Silver Brooch ‘Monnaie du Pape’*
French Art Nouveau silver brooch in the form of a spray of the dried seed pods of Honesty.
Set in the centre at the base of the spreading stems is an upright oval moonstone, its wavy outlined silver setting giving it the appearance of a flower.
Impressed with a French silver mark together with the maker’s mark reading JD which we are unfortunately unable to identify.
