French Art Nouveau Gold Ring*
Item Description
Art Nouveau 18 ct. gold ring with the stylised face of a woman looking straight out from a dark framed background encrusted with diamonds.
Not the usual gentle looking Nouveau maiden this one, and with her wild hair and somewhat long face she looks to be a figure from mythical times.
A little diamond decorates the centre of her forehead and another is placed at the very foot of the ring, beneath the sculpted face.
Ornate gold work to the shoulders with another tiny diamond set on each side at the start of the shank.
Showing a French gold mark and a size halfway between M and N.
