Festoon Brooch attr. to Marius Hammer*
Item Description
Skønvirke silver-gilt and pearlised enamel brooch that, although unmarked, is surely by Marius Hammer.
In the festoon style so typical of that maker and with the typical Hammer drops and scrolling detail.
Plenty of movement when worn with the five separate larger components all connected by a series of silver chainwork and all further decorated with different drops of various sizes.
Early 1900’s, marked on the back for 925 silver and measuring 10 cm in length.
