Classic James Fenton designed and made silver and enamel shield-shaped pendant.
With a hammered finish to the silver, the enamel infills in shades of blue and blackcurrant, and a little silver drop also showing enamelled detail.
The back is inscribed with the date 13 April 1910, perhaps commemorating a previous owner’s birthday.
Also showing on the back the J.F maker’s mark and the Birmingham hallmark for 1909.
The silver chain is approximately 54 cm in length.
