Fahrner Cornucopia Brooch
Sterling silver brooch by Theodor Fahrner fashioned as a cornucopia, using coral and amazonite cabochons together with faceted chalcedony stones to form the fruits and flowers spilling from its open end.
The body of the horn is studded with rows of graduated marcasites with an angled band circling it halfway along its length, and is detailed at the top with a black enamelled collar.
Dating from the 1920’s, beautifully made and a typical example of Fahrner craftsmanship.
Marked 935 and TF on the back and measuring around 6.25 cm wide.
